Pool Water Is Brilliant Lime Green But Crystal Clear
If the pool is a brilliant lime green color but absolutely clear, the alkalinity is low.
Items needed to raise the alkalinity:
- pH Test Kit or Digital Test Kit.
- Baking Soda
- Liquid Muriatic Acid or Acid Magic (Muriatic Acid Replacement) (may be needed to lower pH)
1) Use 4 lbs baking soda per day until the green color is gone.
2) Test the pH.
3) If the pH is above 7.0 after using baking soda, use liquid acid to lower it again to the low side of the pH range (6.6 - 7.0, aim for 6.6)
