Water Tastes Or Smells Bad In A City POE

A couple things will make the water taste or smell bad in a city POE:

 

1)  The electrode chamber needs to be cleaned a couple times per year.  Clean the chamber if the water smells or tastes bad and see if that solves the problem.

2)  The filter media in a city water system typically needs to be changed about every 6-8 years.  If chamber cleaning doesn't solve the problem the filter probably needs to be rebed.
